Allen Community College men’s soccer fell 2-0 to Pratt Community College Saturday afternoon at Red Devil Field.
After a scoreless first half, Pratt broke through in the 55th minute when Shay Sylla scored off an assist from Harley Bates. Pratt added an insurance goal in the 70th minute when Marwan Benhaddad found the back of the net unassisted.
Allen was held without a shot in the opening half before generating three shots after halftime. Bernard Agbavor led the Red Devils with four shots, including two on goal. Adem Diafat also put his lone shot on target.
Pratt finished with nine shots compared to three for Allen and held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Ignacio Paccioni made two saves in goal for the Red Devils.
Allen returns to action against Neosho County who is currently nationally ranked at No. 12. The Panthers are 5-0-4 on the season and 2-0-2 in conference play. Kickoff for the mens game is set for 4:00 PM.
