LEROY — Titan Thunder is preparing for its fourth year of supporting students and school activities in the Southern Coffey County district, with a brainstorming and recruitment meeting planned for Sunday, Aug. 30.
The group focuses on building connections between elementary and middle/high school students while increasing community support for activities throughout the district. Community members are invited to attend the meeting at 5 p.m. in the LeRoy gymnasium to share new ideas, learn more about Titan Thunder and consider joining the organization.
Organizers say they hope to expand the group’s membership and develop new programs that will strengthen school spirit and community involvement for years to come.
