MILDRED — Area residents are invited to share their ideas and hopes for the community during a conversation hosted by Thrive Allen County at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Mildred Store.

The gathering will give residents an opportunity to discuss local needs and priorities. Immediately afterward, Allen County Commissioner David Lee will lead a question-and-answer session about a proposed half-cent sales tax to help fund the county’s emergency medical services.

Voters will decide the sales tax proposal during the Nov. 3 general election. The session will give residents an opportunity to learn more and ask questions before casting their ballots.
