The second annual Resilient Warrior Luncheon will be held Saturday, September 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kansas National Guard Armory in Iola. The free event connects veterans, active-duty guardsmen and their families with local support services and resources.
Organized by the SAVES team, the luncheon brings together area churches, mental health services, the Veterans Administration and the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services to honor, remember and thank local service members.
