NEODESHA — Work continues to transform Neodesha’s historic Brown Hotel into a downtown destination featuring a restaurant, entertainment venue, office spaces and apartments.
City Administrator Brogan Jones says the renovation is progressing well. The project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant awarded to the city in 2025 through the Kansas Department of Commerce.
Originally built in 1886, the Brown Hotel was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. The renovation will give the historic building new uses while preserving a longtime downtown landmark.
