A Colony man who went missing Thursday was found dead Friday evening near his hometown where he’d been involved in a dirt bike accident.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said 31 year old Taylor Davis was going south on Southwest Jefferson Road when he went left of center,crossed the northbound lane and drove off a bridge a quarter mile north of Southwest 400th Road, coming to rest in a creek.
This is just northeast of Colony.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been reported missing late Friday afternoon after he had not been seen since leaving a Colony residence Thursday evening. A search for Davis was organized early Friday evening which according to the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office also involved the use of drones.
