LAHARPE, Kan. — LaHarpe PRIDE is organizing its annual citywide cleanup effort on Saturday, November 14, with volunteers helping residents remove unwanted debris, trash and tree limbs from properties throughout the community.
Approximately a dozen volunteers, including students from Kansas State University, are expected to participate. Volunteers will gather at the LaHarpe Senior Center at 9 a.m. before heading to properties in need of assistance.
Employees from Nelson Quarries will also support the cleanup effort by providing a loader and dump truck to help haul away debris and other materials.
Residents who need assistance with cleanup projects are encouraged to contact LaHarpe City Hall at (620) 365-5956 to have their property added to the list.
Additional volunteers are welcome to participate in the annual community improvement effort.
