A Chanute woman was killed and a man seriously injured in a one vehicle crash Friday morning in far southwest Allen County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said an SUV driven by Lorren Green of Chanute was northbound on the on-ramp to US 169 from 1150 Road when it went off the road to the left and overturned.
A passenger in the Tahoe, Thalia Green of Chanute was pronounced dead at the scene, Lorren Green was taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center for treatment.
