Malachi Brunk rushed for three touchdowns, and Korbyn McClellan scored two and added 60 yards rushing, leading Inman to a 44-6 win over Trinity Catholic on Friday.
Inman dominated the first half, scoring on five offensive possessions, while showing off a large menu of options and weapons. Jasper Jones led the Teutons with 64 yards rushing, while McClellan had 107 yards of total offense.
McClellan’s 15-yard touchdown with 4 minutes, 39 seconds left in the first quarter opened the scoring, and Brunk’s 1-yard touchdown run in the final seconds of the first quarter pushed the lead to 16-0, as Brunk also had a pair of two-point conversion runs.
Brunk had two second-quarter touchdown runs, McClellan had another 15-yard touchdown run, and Gage Sisson had a laate 27-yard fumble return for a score.
With storms throughout the area, the second half was played with a running clock.
Adahir Guerrero scored Trinity’s touchdown midway through the fourth quarter on a 21-yard run.
Inman improved to 3-1 and 1-0 in district play, while Trinity Catholic fell to 1-3 and 0-1.
