The Latino Vision Association is proud to announce the 3rd Annual
Newton Fiesta, taking place Sunday, September 13, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the
Athletic Park Bandshell in Newton, Kansas.
This free community event celebrates Mexican and Latino culture while bringing local
organizations and the broader Newton community together. The Newton Fiesta is held
each year on the weekend closest to Mexican Independence Day, September 16.
This year’s Fiesta will feature a variety of activities for the community, including:
• Local food vendors
• Arts and crafts vendors
• Community organizations providing information and resources
• Family-friendly entertainment
• Azteca Dance Troupe
• Live concert beginning at 6:00 p.m. featuring the Josue Estrada Band
The 2026 Newton Fiesta marks several exciting firsts for the event. This will be the first year
the Fiesta will be held at the Athletic Park Bandshell, providing a new space for the
community to gather. It will also be the first year the event will feature a live band, with
the Josue Estrada Band taking the stage at 6:00 p.m.
Latino Vision Association believe that “The Newton Fiesta is about bringing our community
together and celebrating the cultures and traditions that are an important part of Newton.
We want everyone in the community to come out, enjoy some great food and
entertainment, learn about the organizations serving our area, and celebrate together.”
Admission to the Newton Fiesta is free. Attendees will only pay for food, or other items they
choose to purchase from vendors.
The Latino Vision Association is a community organization dedicated to promoting and
maintaining cultural traditions, providing information about community resources, and
helping educate future generations in Harvey County.
