The Hutchinson High boys soccer team opened the annual Titan Classic on a blazing Monday afternoon at Wichita South with a 2-1 loss to Liberal.
The game was played with hydration breaks every 10 minutes.
Hutchinson scored first on a Griff Galyon breakaway. Liberal tied the game later in the first half, and then scored the winner late in the second half.
Hutchinson fell to 1-1 and will play again Thursday at Wichita South against Circle.
