Marysville defeated Southeast of Saline 28-14 Friday night, ending the Trojans’ incredible 52-game regular-season winning streak.
Southeast of Saline had not lost a regular-season game since Week 7 of the 2019 season against Riley County.
What a turnaround it has been for Marysville under head coach Tony Trimble. The Bulldogs finished just 1-8 a season ago but are now 3-1, with their only loss coming to Chapman in Week 1.
Marysville added a statement win over a Southeast of Saline program that had gone nearly seven years without a regular-season loss.
