The 2026 KBCA All-Star Games took place Saturday at Kansas Wesleyan University’s Mabee Arena in Salina.
The Girls Blue Team All-Stars defeated the Gold Team All-Stars 75-70 and the Boys Gold Team All-Star defeated the Boys Blue Team 94-93.
Kelan Gruver of Bonner Springs was named Mr. Kansas Basketball 2026 and Kailyn Hanni of Silver Lake was honored as Miss Kansas Basketball 2026 by the KBCA.
Rossville’s Rylee Dick scored 14 points to lead the Blue Girls Team over the Gold Team. Clifton-Clyde’s Sevy Wurtz, a Tabor College basketball signee, scored 10 points and added 4 steals. Reagan Becker and Isla Herman also scored 10 points each and Hanni added 9.
Harper Whetstine led the Gold Team with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Julia Schlesinger scored 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Zoe Winter scored 11 points. Elle Robinson scored 9 points and gabbed 8 rebounds. Addisen Wills added 6 points and Avery Brawner 2.
The Gold Team Boys All-Star Team was led by Gruver with 23 points. Jasper Salee added 19, Jett Pyle 14, Boston Ekart 12, Max Galindo 10 and Jahlhn Timmons 9. Sebastian Hines-Turner grabbed 10 rebounds.
KaeVon Bonner led the Blue Team with 23 points. David Crane scored 14, Ty Unruh 11, Leo Schoenberger 10, Mason Martin 9, Cooper Carr 8 and Ben Allen 7.
