Cheney went 5-0 without dropping a set to capture the Chaparral Tournament championship on Saturday.
The Cardinals, one of the top teams in 3A, improved to 20-2 this season.
The Chaparral volleyball team placed third in its home tournament with a 4-1 record and the Nickerson Panthers placed fourth.
Nickerson will be back in action on Tuesday at home against Halstead and Hillsboro in a Central Kanas League Triangular.
It will be Seniors Night for the Panthers, who are playing their final home matches.
