McPHERSON, Kan. — Buhler took an early lead on a penalty kick by Jaydon Adcock, but McPherson scored twice before halftime to defeat the Crusaders 2-1 in boys soccer Tuesday night. The loss snapped Buhler’s three-game winning streak.
The Crusaders earned the penalty after a handball was called on McPherson in the box. Yahir Valadez tied the match for the Bullpups after a Buhler turnover, and Grayson Broadus scored off a corner kick for the eventual game-winner.
Neither team scored in the second half.
Buhler(5-3) will travel to Valley Center on Thursday.
