The old saying is that records are meant to be broken.

The athletes on the Buhler High School girls and boys track teams have been shattered seven school records with about three weeks left in the season.

Friday night the Crusaders will send squads to the Salina Central Invitational and Shawnee Mission North Relays

The nine-team Salina Central meet will take place at the Salina USD 305 District Stadium.

The Shawnee Mission North Relays, which features 50 schools from Kansas and Missouri, will take place at the Shawnee Mission North District Stadium.

“Both the boys and girls teams have progressed as the season has gone along this year,” Buhler assistant track coach Curtis Morgan. “We look forward to seeing more progress being made as we head into the final part of the season over the next few weeks.”
