2026 KJCCC Football Players of the Week – Week 1

COLBY, Kan. – Opening the 2026 season with a 59-7 drubbing of Cisco College, the Hutchinson Community College football team has swept the first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Football Player of the Week awards with Bobby Shaw III, Kameron Graham, and Denzel More each picking up honors.

Bobby Shaw III (Hutchinson) – KJCCC Football Offensive Player of the Week
Receiver Bobby Shaw III had career highs for single-game receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns in the number two-ranked Blue Dragons’ 59-7 season-opening victory over Cisco College last Thursday. Shaw had six catches for 108 yards, his first 100-yard receiving game, and 2 touchdowns against the Wranglers. Shaw’s touchdowns came on passes of 8 and 18 yards.

Kameron Graham (Hutchinson) – KJCCC Football Defensive Player of the Week
Graham made his presence known on the defensive line for number two-ranked Hutchinson in the Blue Dragons’ 2026 season opener, recording three tackles, two sacks, and two tackles for loss in a 59-7 win for HCC over Cisco College. Adding two quarterback pressures against the Wranglers, Graham and the Blue Dragon defense limited Cisco to 131 total yards and just six first downs.

Denzel More (Hutchinson) – KJCCC Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Blue Dragon returning All-American punter Denzel More had only two punts in number two-ranked Hutchinson’s 59-7 victory over Cisco last Thursday at Gowans Stadium. Both punts were impressive, with More booting a career-long 68-yard punt that rolled dead at the Cisco 1-yard line. Later on in the game, More’s third-quarter punt of 57 yards was downed at the Wrangler 11-yard line to finish the game with a 62.5-yard average and both punts being downed inside the 20.
