HUTCHINSON, Kan. – June 1, 2026 — Registration is now open for the Entrepreneurship Business Basics JUMP©+AI program, also known as EBB JUMP©+AI, a 12-week course designed to help entrepreneurs and small business owners start, operate, and grow with confidence.
The program will run August 24 through November 16 and is sponsored by StartUp Hutch and Network Kansas. Registration is open through July 31.
Led by facilitator Kira Cheree’ Cobb, EBB JUMP©+AI helps participants build a strong foundation in business fundamentals, connect with local resources, and take practical steps toward launching or strengthening a business. This year’s course will also include guidance on how small business owners can leverage AI to save time, support marketing, improve operations, and make more informed decisions.
The program concludes with a Pitch Contest, giving participants the opportunity to practice what they have learned and compete for a $1,000 cash prize to help move their business forward.
“EBB JUMP©+AI gives entrepreneurs a supportive place to learn, test ideas, build confidence, and connect with others who want to see them succeed,” said Graham Klemme, Executive Director of StartUp Hutch. “We’re excited to bring this program back and give participants practical tools they can use right away, including new ways to think about AI in small business.”
The course will meet Monday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. in a hybrid format, with select in-person sessions and the remaining sessions held online. In-person sessions include the opening session, a Kansas State Fair business tour on September 14, graduation, and the final Pitch Contest.
The course is valued at $700, but thanks to support from program sponsors, the registration fee is $100. A $50 deposit will be refunded after successful completion of the program. Limited scholarships are available.
