McPHERSON, Kan. — McPherson Center for Health is grateful to the members of VFW Post 2715 for their generous donation to purchase new chairs for the hospital’s Outpatient Infusion Center.

The donation funded comfortable seating for family members and loved ones accompanying patients during infusion treatments. Many infusion appointments last several hours, and the new chairs provide a welcoming place for visitors to remain close to those receiving care.

“Our patients often rely on the support of family and friends during treatment,” said Sarah Baker, RN Director of MedSurg and ICU. “Thanks to the generosity of VFW Post 2715, we are able to provide a more comfortable environment for both our patients and the loved ones who are by their side. We are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to serving our community.”

The addition of the chairs enhances the Infusion Center by creating a more supportive and compassionate atmosphere for everyone who enters the department. While patients receive treatment, family members now have a comfortable place to sit, visit, read, or simply be present during their loved one’s care.

McPherson Center for Health appreciates the VFW’s ongoing dedication to improving the lives of those in the McPherson community. Their generosity will positively impact countless patients and families for years to come.
