HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A Hutchinson woman, 19-year-old Baylee Flynn, has passed away following a crash on K96, south of South Hutchinson on Monday afternoon.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a Dodge Durango driven by a 19-year-old male was traveling northwest on K96 with Flynn as a passenger. As the Durango approached Trail West Road, the vehicle veered onto the right shoulder and struck a semi-truck that was legally parked on the shoulder.
Flynn was taken to Wesley Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Durango was also transported to Wesley Medical Center with reported minor injuries.
