HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Thursday June 18, 2026 – At 12:14 the Hutchinson Fire Department was called to 5903 N Cactus Drive for a structure fire.
When units arrived on scene, they found a 30X40 shop with a large amount of smoke coming from the eves. The crews began an aggressive fire attack and were able to find the fire and extinguish it.
Crews stayed on scene for a while overhauling and investigating the fire. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
