HutchCC to Host Summer Boot Camps

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Hutchinson Community College will once again offer a variety of summer boot camp opportunities for students ages 14 and older, giving participants the chance to explore career fields, develop hands-on skills, and experience college life in a fun and engaging environment.

The Future Dragons Boot Camps will take place June 9-11, 2026, on the HutchCC campus. Students may choose to attend one camp or participate in different sessions each day.

Camp sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and are open to students ages 14 and older. The cost is $15 per session and includes lunch and a T-shirt. Registration and T- shirt orders must be completed by May 15 to ensure T-shirt.

Boot camp areas of interest include Art, automation, computer drafting, cybersecurity, farm and ranch, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), personal finance, photography, podcasting, robotics, theatre, video production and welding.

In addition to the Future Dragons Boot Camps, HutchCC will host a special Healthcare Heroes Bootcamp on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 8:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Peel Allied Health Center, 800 N. Main.

The Healthcare Heroes Bootcamp is free to attend and will introduce students to career opportunities in Surgical Technology and Respiratory Care. Participants will also receive CPR/AED certification through the American Heart Association while gaining practical skills related to emergency response and patient care.
