The Reno County Sheriff’s Office has identified William Duran of Gardner, Colorado, as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on U.S. 50 near Salem Road, southwest of Hutchinson on Friday.
Duran struck the back of a stopped van waiting for a semi to turn. Two people in the van were injured but later released.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a white male deceased near a three-wheeled motorcycle and a passenger van that had sustained rear-end damage in the westbound roadway.
During the investigation, US 50 Highway was reduced to one lane of traffic.
