Why Support Kids Ag Day?

  1. Empowering the Future: Kids Ag Day offers students a unique opportunity to step outside their classrooms and into the heart of the agriculture industry. By engaging them in interactive activities and educational displays, we empower these young minds to understand the importance of agriculture and inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders.
  2. Enhancing Education: As a crucial part of the curriculum, Kids Ag Day enhances the educational experience for over 350 fourth-grade students each year. Providing hands-on learning experiences will promote a deeper understanding of the agricultural processes that sustain our communities.
  3. Nurturing Community Ties: Kids Ag Day brings together local businesses, farmers, educators, and families, fostering a sense of unity within our community. This event highlights the interconnectedness of our town’s agricultural heritage and its economic prosperity.
  4. Ensuring Sustainability: As we invest in the education of our youth, we invest in the future sustainability of our agricultural sector. Kids Ag Day sparks interest and passion for agriculture, encouraging students to consider careers in this essential industry.
