The Cunningham Wildcats shut out Sedan 50-0 in their Kansas Eight-Man II state playoff first-round game Thursday at Cunningham.
The game ended at halftime on the 45-point mercy rule when Cunningham’s Liam McGuire intercepted pass and returned it for a touchdown.
Cunningham, which has eight shutouts in nine games, improved to 9-0. Sedan finished the season with a 4-5 record.
Cunningham will play the Waverly-Troy winner in the regional round.
