The Panthers travelled to Nebraska looking to extend their winning momentum, but challenging conditions made for a competitive opening half, with both sides enjoying periods of control.
Neosho found the breakthrough through Adam Larkin, who capitalized on a well-worked set-piece routine. Keane Hazeldine delivered an excellent ball from a free kick, finding Larkin, who converted to give the Panthers a 1–0 advantage.
Despite taking the lead, the contest remained closely fought, with momentum shifting between the two sides throughout the opening 45 minutes. Neosho entered halftime ahead, using the interval to regroup, reassess and reinforce the principles that have contributed to their success throughout the season.
As has become a familiar theme this campaign, the Panthers emerged from the break with renewed intensity and purpose, immediately looking to establish greater control of the contest.
The complexion of the game shifted further when Southeast were reduced to 10 men following a straight red card. Neosho capitalized on the numerical advantage, taking command of possession and dictating the tempo of the game.
The Panthers doubled their advantage when Danny Carroll produced a well-placed cross into the penalty area, finding Lochlan Mackenzie-Smith, who directed a header into the net to make it 2–0.
Neosho continued to press forward, and a third goal soon followed. Hazeldine turned provider once again, delivering another excellent ball into the area for Greyson Davis to finish with a header, putting the result beyond doubt.
The Panthers managed the remaining stages with composure, maintaining control of the contest while preserving another clean sheet to complete a professional away performance.
Three goals, three different scorers, two assists from Hazeldine and a clean sheet highlighted another positive team display. The victory reflected Neosho’s ability to adapt to challenging conditions, respond strongly after halftime and capitalize on opportunities to take control of the game.
Another successful trip out of state for the Panthers as they continue to build on their impressive 2026 campaign.
