The McPherson Chamber announced a new board member. Kenan Warren brings banking and finance experience to the board and will look at Chamber partnerships as a way to help entrepreneurs start or grow their businesses.
Kenan Warren has spent his entire life in McPherson outside of his college years in Manhattan where he graduated with a finance degree from KSU. He and his wife Allie have two children. If Kenan is not at work or spending time with family, you’ll likely find him chasing a white ball around Turkey Creek or McPherson County Club. A fun fact about Kenan is that he has hit two hole-in-ones on the same hole in the last three years! Before that he had zero.
Kenan values the Chamber’s role in promoting local businesses, including our local banks. Through his banking experience, he has seen how partnerships with the Chamber-facilitated loan programs help bridge funding gaps, giving entrepreneurs the resources they need to start, expand, and strengthen their businesses.
Kenan would like to see similar businesses benefit from one another to learn what works and what doesn’t work in their business. He has seen this collaborative approach work well within the banking industry. Kenan’s financial expertise and collaborative mindset, will be valuable assets to the Chamber, its members, and the community.
