County Clerk Hollie Melroy will conduct a public test of the DS450 ballot counter before the upcoming General Election.
The test is scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11am. The public is encouraged to attend this event at the County Clerk’s office in the new County Administration Building at 200 N Maple.
After the election, a second public test of the DS450 ballot counter will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 11am, at the same location.
The public tests gives citizens a chance to see how the ballot counting process works. County officials say attendees can watch the equipment in action and ask any questions about the process.
