Members of the Hoisington High School boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Sterling Invitational Thursday.
In the varsity boys 5K division, Brody Rossman set a school record with a first-place time of 15 minutes, 46 seconds.
Johnathan Gonzalez finished 78th while teammate Aden Rexwinkle placed 83rd.
Hoisington’s Tristin Compton placed fourth in the varsity girls 5K division and broke her own school record with a time of 19:56. Monroe Walker ran her first varsity meet and finished 32nd with a time of 24:20.7.
