HUTCHINSON, Kan. —October 5, 2026— StartUp Hutch has awarded a $15,944 business loan to EJ and Sierra Bennett, owners of Legendz Xtreme Athletics, supporting the continued growth of their Hutchinson-based cheer, tumbling and dance business.
Legendz Xtreme Athletics provides recreational and competitive opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels. The business was built around creating a positive, family-focused environment where athletes can develop their skills while building confidence, character and resilience.
From beginners taking their first tumbling or dance class to athletes pursuing competitive cheer, Legendz Xtreme Athletics focuses on proper technique, teamwork and personal growth both on and off the mat.
“Businesses like Legendz Xtreme Athletics add something important to our community,” said Graham Klemme, executive director of StartUp Hutch. “EJ and Sierra are creating a place where young people can learn, grow and be part of a supportive community. We’re glad StartUp Hutch can be one piece of helping them continue to build that here in Hutchinson.”
For the Bennetts, Legendz Xtreme Athletics is intended to be more than a place to practice a sport. Their goal is to create a community where athletes feel challenged, encouraged and recognized for the work they put in.
The $15,944 loan is part of StartUp Hutch’s ongoing work to connect Reno County entrepreneurs and small business owners with the resources, financing and support they need to start, operate and grow sustainable businesses.
Legendz Xtreme Athletics is located in Hutchinson and offers cheer, tumbling and dance opportunities for recreational and competitive athletes.
