The Sterling High School volleyball team captured the Burrton Tournament title Saturday.
The Black Bears posted a 4-0 record at the tournament without dropping a set.
Sterling defeated Elyria Christian 25-18, 25-18, Hutchinson Central Christian 25-22, 25-23, Cunningham 25-21, 25-10 and Berean Academy 25-22, 25-20 (championship match).
The Black Bears improved to 14-17.
Cunningham placed fourth at the Burrton Tournament Saturday.
The Wildcats defeated Fairfield 25-16, 25-12 and lost to Berean Academy 25-21, 25-19, Sterling 25-21, 25-10 and Hutchinson Central Christian 25-22, 25-13.
Also at the Burrton Tournament, Hutchinson Central Christian defeated Elyria Christian Hutch: 25-14, 25-16.
