U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin says Immigration and Customs Enforcement is not conducting worksite operations in Kansas.
This follows reports of temporary business closures in southwest Kansas, where some owners shut down over fears of ICE agents. About 150 people gathered in downtown Great Bend to share concerns about what they thought was ICE activity.
