BOURBON COUNTY, Kan. — Three people were seriously injured Monday when a pickup struck an Amish buggy on K-7 in Bourbon County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the crash happened Sept. 21 at milepost 72.3. A GMC Sierra and the buggy were both traveling south on K-7 when the pickup struck the buggy from behind.
The buggy was carrying three people: 65-year-old Christopher Yoder, 43-year-old Willard Yoder and a 6-year-old girl. All three were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the GMC Sierra was not injured in the crash.
