Members of the Buhler and McPherson high school girls golf teams competed in the 9-hole Towanda Circle 2 Invitational Monday at par-33 Willowbend Golf Club in Wichita.
Buhler 4 (Frankie Baldwin and Ashlyn Bounds) placed fourth with an 8-over par 41 and Buhler 2 placed fifth (Ava Schmidt and Berkley Erickson) with a 42. Both duos earned medals.
Buhler 3 placed 19th, 52; Buhler 1, 21st, 53; Buhler 5, 25th, 61; and Buhler 6, 26th, 78.
Also competing for Buhler at the tournament were Aria Rhodenbaugh, Mia Wilson, Zoe Swan, Bralyn McFarland, Swayze Redman, Emmy Yeakel, Gracyn McFarland, Tenley Wilkening and Estia Garcia.
McPherson 2 placed 12th, 47; McPherson 1, 15th, 48; and McPherson 3, 61.
Augusta 1 placed first with 37 score. Wellington 1 placed second with a 40 score and Wellington 2 placed third with a 41 score.
