The Buhler girls golf team put together a strong performance Thursday at the McPherson Invitational, finishing second in the 18-hole tournament at Turkey Creek Golf Course behind team champion Kapaun Mount Carmel.
Buhler posted a team score of 320.
Anika Paulsrud led the way for the Crusaders, carding a 77 to finish fifth individually. Addison Specht followed with a 79, good for sixth place.
Paityn Weber and Macy Miller each shot an 82 and tied for 12th, giving Buhler four golfers among the tournament’s top 12 finishers. Ellie Goering also competed for Buhler, shooting a 94 to tie for 29th.
Kapaun Mount Carmel’s Ximena Sarinana won the individual title with a 67, finishing four under par.
