ALLEN COUNTY, Kan. — The Allen County Farm Bureau Association is encouraging those involved in agriculture to participate and help spread awareness about farm safety and health during National Farm Safety and Health Week, Sept. 21-25.
This year’s theme is “Safety Today, Success Tomorrow,” emphasizing that safe practices on farms and ranches each day can help protect workers and ensure a successful future for the agriculture industry.
As part of the week, the AgriSafe Network will offer a series of free webinars focusing on different agricultural safety and health topics. The series begins Monday, Sept. 21, with Equipment and Rural Roadway Safety, followed by Health and Wellness on Tuesday and Generations of Farming on Wednesday.
Thursday’s program will focus on Confined Spaces, while the week concludes Friday, Sept. 25, with a webinar on Cancer Prevention.
