Kansas Farm Bureau is accepting applications for its next Ag Academy class, an immersive program designed to give participants a firsthand look at agriculture across the state. The program is open to everyone, regardless of agricultural background or Kansas Farm Bureau membership, and applications are due Oct. 15.
Ag Academy runs from November 2026 through September 2027 and includes six one-day sessions across Kansas. Participants will take part in behind-the-scenes tours and hear from speakers while learning about production agriculture, farm families, agricultural policy, commodities, transportation, trade, water, technology and rural communities.
The program is designed to help participants better understand the people, operations and innovations that shape Kansas agriculture and its impact on communities and the state’s economy. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants, and the program fee is $100.
Applications must be submitted electronically by Oct. 15, with selections expected by Oct. 30. More information and applications are available through Kansas Farm Bureau’s Ag Academy page.
