Several area runners competed in the small school division at the Hesston Swather Special high school cross country meet Thursday.
In the boys team standings, Hesston and Cheney placed fourth and fifth. Berean Academy, Halstead, Lyons and Sterling placed 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th and Hoisington 16th.
In the girls team standings, Cheney, Berean Academy, Hoisington and Sterling placed fourth, sixth, ninth and 10th. Goessel, Halstead, Lyons and Inman placed 11th, 17th, 18th and 21st.
In the large school division (Class 4A, 5A and 6A), the Andale boys placed sixth.
