The Hutchinson High boys soccer team raced to a three-goal lead at halftime Thursday, and the Salthawks would go on to win their 2026 opener by beating Arkansas City 5-1 at the Salthawk Sports Complex.
The Salthawks are scheduled to play again Monday afternoon in the Titan Classic at Wichita South, but the 3 p.m. kickoff may get altered due to the expected triple-digit heat.
