Tolls on the Kansas Turnpike go up Tuesday, September 1st — the first increase since 2022.

The Kansas Turnpike Authority approved a three-year adjustment: 3% annually for passenger vehicles, 4% for trucks.

The hike funds a nearly $500 million investment plan, covering bridge and road work, widening Interstate 70, interchange upgrades, and the ongoing Emporia service area overhaul.

Officials say tolls will still rank among the lowest in the nation. The KTA runs entirely on toll revenue.
