The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales are heading to the 2026 Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson, giving fairgoers several opportunities to see the iconic horses up close. The Clydesdales will be available for public viewing at the Kansas State Fairgrounds stables from Sunday, September 13, through Sunday, September 20, with the stables open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In addition to the daily stable viewing, the Clydesdales will make several special appearances during the fair. A full hitch parade is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Kansas State Fairgrounds, followed by a one-horse appearance Thursday, September 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the 1861 Club.

The Clydesdales will return Saturday, September 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. for another full hitch parade, along with a special Budweiser Folds of Honor presentation at the Kansas State Fairgrounds Whitehouse and 1861 Club.

Fair officials note that stable viewing and the full hitch shows are separate experiences. While visitors can see the horses in their stalls throughout the fair, full wagon hitch appearances will only take place on the scheduled dates, with September 12, 13, 14 and 20 designated as rest and preparation days for the horses.

Additional event and route details will be announced as the fair approaches.
