Macy Miller, a 2027 senior at Buhler High School, returns after qualifying for the 2025 4A state tournament and placing 15th with a 171 (85-86).
Miller was selected by Sports in Kansas player to watch.
Miller and her Buhler Crusader teammates will be open the season at the Hesston Invitational Sept. 3 at the Hesston Golf Course.
Miller has been a consistent regional performer throughout her career, earning third-place regional finishes in 2023 and 2024 before placing fifth individually at regionals in 2025.
Miller has earned AVCTL Division III First Team All-League honors twice and Second Team honors in 2025, while also collecting Hutchinson City Junior Championship titles in 2023 and 2024.
She is a multi-sport standout, with additional honors in bowling, softball and cheer.
On the golf course, she returns alongside senior Anika Paulsrud (who also was recognized as a golfer to each by Sports in Kansas) as Buhler looks to make a run at a state championship.
“I am excited to bond with my teammates and create relationships with fellow golfers,” Miller told Sports in Kansas in an interview. “I am also excited for this season because we have all worked very hard and our team goal is a state championship.”
Miller has verbally accepted an offer to play softball at Hutchinson Community College.
Macy Miller will follow in the footsteps of her older sister Haley, who was part of Buhler’s 2019 4A state championship golf team and finished runner-up individually before playing softball at HutchCC.
