RENO COUNTY, Kan. – The Hutchinson Police Department requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Hutchinson man.
The whereabouts of 79-year-old Homer Lee Gilson, of Hutchinson, are unknown and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate him.
Gilson is likely driving a silver 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a brush guard on the front bearing Kansas tag 3478AED. He was headed to Topeka on the morning of Aug. 11 when he became lost.
Gilson is a white male who is around 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has gray hair, blue eyes, and has a medical condition that may impair his ability to return safely without assistance.
