Knowing how to start a conversation can make all the difference. A regional workshop is helping community members learn how to support the mental and emotional well-being of others.
The COMET Regional Community Trainer Workshop will teach participants how to recognize concerns, start meaningful conversations and connect people with resources. The workshop is August 20 at the Southeast Research and Extension Center in Parsons.
Registration is due August 10 and includes certification. The workshop includes certification and a $180 registration fee.
If you’re interested in becoming a resource for your community, this workshop is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills and confidence.
