Kansas Democratic gubernatorial candidates clashed Friday over Governor Laura Kelly’s role in their primary race.

Cindy Holscher said she raised concerns with Kelly’s office about possible interference in the campaign.

Ethan Corson, who has Kelly’s endorsement, said he’d rather focus on issues like healthcare and education. Overland Park Mayor Curt Skoog also took the stage, accusing both rivals of “mudslinging.”

Kansas voters head to the polls Tuesday for the state’s primary.
