A Moran man was killed late Saturday night in a motorcycle-deer crash in far southeast Allen County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Barry Maley, 68, was westbound on Delaware Road at the southwest edge of Elsmore and approaching US 59 when a deer going north crossed the road and was struck by his motorcycle.
Maley, who the Highway Patrol said was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
