Sports in Kansas released its finalists Wednesday for Softball Coach of the Year and Baseball Coach of the Year.
Area softball coaches listed as finalists are Shawn Behr, Great Bend (5A); Stephanie Patterson, McPherson (4A); Erin Carney, Andale/Garden Plain (4A); Darin Ashworth, Haven (3A); Tyler Smith, Southeast of Saline (3A); and Melissa Schoepf, Hays-Thomas More Prep-Marian (2-1A).
Area baseball coaches listed are Michael Stettinger, Great Bend (5A); Heath Gerstner, McPherson (4A); Ron Hill, Pratt (4A); Brandon Ridgely, Russell/Victoria (3A); Aaron Breit, TMP (2-1A); and Jamie Scott, Hutchinson Trinity Catholic (2-1A).
