Little River State Track Results: Olander Four-peats as 1A State Girls Triple Jump Champion

Little River High School senior Havana Olander is a four-time state champion in the 1A girls triple jump.

She won her fourth state title Saturday at Wichita State University’s Crossland Stadium with a mark of 37 feet, 6 inches.

Teammate Dempsey Lafferty captured the first-place gold medal in the 1A girls javelin with a throw of 147-2.

The Little River boys 4×100 relay (Logan Schubert, Jhet Ewertt, Kal-El Robinson, Tristan Bristow) qualified for the finals with a state-record time of 43.16 seconds.

Bristow was second in the 1A boys 100-meter dash and fourth in the 200. Schubert placed seventh in the 1A boys 100-meter dash and ninth in the 1A boys 300-meter hurdles.

Little River High School’s Christopher Norez placed fourth in the Kansas Class 1A boys javelin and teammate Nash Look placed eighth.

Cole Dieball finished fifth in the 1A boys discus and eighth in shot put.

Ty Janette finished 17th in the 1A boys high jump.

The Little River boys 4×400 relay of Logan Schubert, Lincoln Raleigh, Kal-El Robinson and Jhet Ewertt barely missed the finals and finished 12th in preliminaries.

The Little River girls 4×400 relay team of Havana Olander, Addie Strecker, Dempsey Lafferty and Abby Schroeder placed fifth with a time of 4:14.62.

The Little River girls 4×100 team of  Olander, Strecker, Jolie Myers and Saelyn Raleigh posted a personal record and a sixth-place podium finish.

Schroeder placed 13th in the 1A girls 800-meter run and Strecker placed 15th in the 1A girls long jump.

The Little River boys placed third with 36 points and the Little River girls placed ninth with 27 points.
