The Trinity Catholic baseball team earned the No. 3 seed in the Class 2-1A Region 4 tournament.
Class 2-1A is divided into four regionals, which are then divided into two tournaments in each regional. The Celtics, 17-3, will open the tournament at 5 p.m. Thursday at Rice Park against Heart of America League rival Sedgwick (6-18), the No. 14 seed.
The Celtics swept the regular-season meeting on April 13 at Rice Park, winning 14-4 and 12-4.
The winner advances to the May 19 semifinals. Spearville would be in line to host if the second-seeded Royal Lancers beat Satanta in the first round.
