The Little River High School boys track team broke three school records at Thursday’s Hesston Varsity Invitational.
Cole Dieball broke his own discus record with a first-place toss of 180 feet, 2 inches. He placed second in the shot put (48-7).
Tristan Bristow broke his own 100-meter dash record with a first-place effort of 10.77 seconds. He also won the 200-meter race with a time of 23.42.
Logan Schubert, Jhet Ewertt, Kal-El Robinson and Bristow broke their own 4×100-meter relay record with a second-place time of 43.17 seconds.
Little River senior Christopher Noreen captured the javelin with a 180 foot throw.
Little River’s Adelynne Strecker placed first in the girls long jump with an effort of 16-8.5.
Team scores were not available.
Little River will compete in the Wheat State League track meet Wednesday at Herington.
